External reporting offices
You may report to an external reporting office instead of this internal one, or after it (§ 7 HinSchG). The same protection against reprisals applies.
-
Federal external reporting office (Bundesamt für Justiz)
Responsible for every violation the HinSchG covers, unless BaFin or the Bundeskartellamt is.
-
BaFin (Federal Financial Supervisory Authority)
Violations in financial services, securities trading and money laundering supervision (§ 21 HinSchG).
-
Bundeskartellamt (Federal Cartel Office)
Violations of competition law (§ 22 HinSchG).
-
OLAF (European Anti-Fraud Office)
Fraud, corruption and other wrongdoing involving EU funds.
-
Federal states
A federal state may run its own external reporting office for its state and municipal administration (§ 20 HinSchG).
These links lead to the offices' own websites; this site sends them nothing. Your employer's network can see that you visited them.
